Way Too SmallMar 02, 2010

This game is way too small for anyone to enjoy. I didn't know a ring toss game could be so small. It's a miniature version of a Quoits game we played at my mother-in-laws. When I ordered it, I had no concept of how small it would be. I'm returning it and trying to find something larger on Amazon. I'd suggest that the seller put something in the photo for scale, so others don't have the same problem I had.

By Hot Rod I made this purchase for my 4 year old granddaughter. It's so small and too easy. We all lose interest it the game.
Fun, "tabletop" version of ring tossMar 18, 2010
By Amazon Customer We used this at a company event along with other team-building games, and this was the most popular. We taped the crossbars to a tabletop and marked a line on the floor for people to throw from. Making them play with partners and giving the winning teams raffle tickets for prizes made it more fun.
I agree that this game is small. Each crossbar is 11 inches long, and the rope rings are 3 inches in diameter. The small size makes it challenging, but letting people stand closer makes it easier. The pegs are separate and not permanently attached, but easily assembled each time you use the game.
When you play, each peg has a specific number of points, so you need to add up your scores, making it educational for children. When you hook a peg that matches the color of the bead on the ring, you get double points.
If you order this game, check it as soon as you receive it. The one I ordered was defective -- the peg holes were drilled on the underside of one of the crossbars. Amazon replaced it via 2-day shipping so we had it in time for our event.
