It was poorly packed with no overwrap on the box from the factory. When I received the set I was missing all the screws except for 1 pack and the black handle was broken. A note came with the shipment saying to call this number not who you bought it from. Like Amazon publishes a number to call them! Anyway I called and was promised the parts in a few days. I waited 8 days and called and got a lady, EZ, who told me that the first person should have never told me it would only take a few days and to allow 7 to 10 days. I repeated what was missing/broken and gave her my phone number I asked her to rerpeat what I was missing and my phone nyumber which she did. She promised to call me the next day with a tracking number. She didn't call for 4 days so I called again. She first told me that she called and no one answered. She then was dying to repeat the # back to me to make sure she had it correct. I told her she had repeated it in our first conversation. She repeated it back with the last digit as a 2 instead of a one. Don't 2 and one sound alike? Never mind that she hasd repeated it. For Kicks I called the number she said she dialed and got an answering machine. I asked her for my tracking number. She said there was no # because the package was too small to send UPS. I said "A mallet handle is too small? She said all she had me down for was a bunch of screws and that was why there was no tracking number. She offered to send the items out "AGAIN" I asked her to call me with a tracking number this time. She said they didnt use tracking numbers. OH Boy. They are in Illinois I am in Ohio. She did call the next day and said it was sent out. No tracking number. I never received it. Service sucks. As best as I can tell Amazon expects me to pay to return it to get my money back. I just want my missing parts or them to issue a call tag and pick it up and give me my money back.

What a shame I couldn't review this with a 5 star rating. The set is well made and seems to be very durable. Absolutely worth the money. It is unfortunate that the packaging was all there except NO WHEELS and NO HARDWARE for any wheels. We have come to discover that we cannot request missing wheels but are expected to return the ENTIRE SET just to get our wheels! We received the set just days before it was needed for a family reunion so returning the entire set was out of the question. Also, the box was a mess! I am very upset because I would enjoy rolling this set thru the yard because that is one of the reasons I chose it over others available in carry bags. It would be nice if everything shown in the picture was sent to me! This was not inexpensive at all. It is unfortunate that one gets so used to such poor service. This is not the first time I have received an order and been completely disappointed! I really am getting used to poor service! WHY SHOULD I RETURN THE ENTIRE SET? WHY CAN"T YOU JUST SEND ME MY WHEELS AND THE HARDWARE FOR MY WHEELS? PLEASE! Actually, why didn't you just include everything to begin with and we wouldn't even have a problem, I would be happy and you all would have a 5 star rating right now. To those of you reading this review... Good Luck to you if you order this Croquet Set! Keep your fingers crossed. You will enjoy the fine quality and MAYBE the company will send you the entre set! Pain to put together - Pilot Holes to big for cheap side clips - One mallet did not screw in "very well" - Overall pain to move around - Basically a POJ
